Pastor
Dr. Robert John Fuller, Jr.
Dr. Fuller and his family moved to New Ulm in
the summer of 1993, where he joined the staff of First Baptist Church as
Senior Pastor. In addition to his ministry with the church, he has served on
the boards of trustees for the Minnesota Baptist Association, Camp Shiloh
Camping Association, and Pillsbury Baptist Bible College.
Dr. Fuller is a graduate of Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, In Owatonna,
Minnesota. He received the M.Div. degree from Central Baptist Theological
Seminary in Minneapolis. Following his studies at Central, he studied at
Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana, where he was awarded the
Th.M. degree in New Testament and Greek. He also holds a Doctor of Ministry
(DMin) degree from Central Baptist Seminary.
Pastor Fuller and his wife, Jacque, were married in 1970. Jacque is a
Graduate of Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, and of Mankato State University
(now Minnesota State University at Mankato) in Music Education.
Dr. & Mrs. Fuller have three children. Rhoda Jane Olmstead is a graduate of
PBBC in education. She lives in Wisconsin, where her husband, Matt, is
church music pastor. Matt holds a bachelor's degree in music from Pillsbury,
and a master's degree in church music from Bob Jones University.
Their son, Rob is a graduate of PBBC in music. His wife, Heidi, is a
graduate of PBBC in music education. Rob serves as Music Director in Derby
Kansas. He is currently working on a master's degree in counseling from
Maranatha Baptist Bible College in Watertown, WI. Their son's name is
Griffen Anthony."
Rebekka, a graduate of Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in photography, lives
in New Ulm with her husband, Justin Nelson. Justin works for Minnesota
Valley Testing Laboratory, and Bekka is a staff photographer for the New Ulm
Journal. They work in the church in the areas of Youth and Children's
ministry.
